Mallory Buxton, BSN, RN
Our founder, Mallory Buxton, was born and raised on a farm in rural South Dakota. After high school, she went on to receive her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and minor in Biology at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. Mallory had the privilege of being voted by her peers as Mistress of Ceremonies at her nurse pinning ceremony in the Spring of 2011.
Mallory's nursing career started in the Cardiac ICU and expanded to outpatient infusion where she gained her chemotherapy & biotherapy certification. She also enjoyed being a Nursing Clinical Instructor for her alma mater before moving to Scottsdale, AZ in 2014. Trading in snow shovels for sunshine Mallory worked in Medical Surgical ICU in Scottsdale and the float pool in Phoenix where she floated to: Outpatient Chemotherapy & Infusion, Endoscopy, Lithotripsy, RPPU, Outpatient MRI and PACU.
After helping patients and family members at the bedside for over 5 years, Mallory saw a need for patient advocacy and the concierge home care role. She launched Solos in September of 2016 and has gained immense fulfillment in helping clients in the concierge nurse role.
